Cairn Shiel is a modern bungalow which is double glazed throughout. Maximum occupancy 4 guests.

 

Comfortable and tastefully decorated 21ft lounge, with picture window overlooking Beinn Eighe, Slioch and the Torridon Mountains. 2 large settees and spacious dining area. Freeview satellite TV, DVD player and a selection of films. Radio/cassette/CD player. Selection of books and games. Payphone.

 

 

 

The well equipped fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, together with a good range of crockery and cooking utensils. Recycling bin. There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing-board (please bring your own washing powder)

 

 

Spacious master bedroom overlooking Beinn Eighe. King-size bed, fitted wardrobes, dressing table and bedside cabinets. Single bed also available in the same room for small children to share with parents if required.

The 2 twin bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.

 

 

 

Modern bathroom with 3 piece suite and over-bath electric shower. Downflow heater, heated towel rail. Further separate washroom with w.c.

 

 

 

Ample off-road parking is available at the bungalow.

Once inside Cairn Shiel is all on one level but there are 3 steps at the front and 2 steps at the back to access the property which may make it un-suitable for guests with a disability.

 

Wi-fi and electricity included (fair useage policy based on average winter consumption )

Heating by modern Rointe electric heaters and storage heaters.

Bedding and towels can be provided at an extra charge per person.

Cot and highchair available to use free of charge (please indicate if you require them when you book)

 

Cairn Shiel is a no smoking property.

We use eco-friendly cleaning products and actively encourage recycling.

 

Up to 2 well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement and payment of the appropriate fee.


Café, Coffee Bar, hotel bar serving meals, local shop and fuel station are all available in Kinlochewe Village which is approx. half a mile by road, or 1 mile via the wonderful walking track to the rear of the cottage.
